More information about PRIMAS
About
Primas is a movement to bring quality, credibility and accountability back to the internet in the form of a decentralised platform where people can openly share ideas and are rewarded for participation.
At Primas, we are committed to using blockchain technology to restructure the relationship between content creators and their community. We believe humanity progresses by sharing and there is no more valuable thing to share than an idea.
Primas restructures the relationship between online authors and their audience through the use of blockchain technology and economic incentives. The Primas DApp is a decentralised content publishing platform based on the DTCP (Decentralised Trusted Content Protocol) with the DTCP functioning as the underlying infrastructure and the DApp serving as a platform for reading, publishing, distributing, recommending, engaging with content, and getting rewarded for it.
The Primas DApp connects creative people. By building trust and rewarding the creation of and interaction with premium quality content, the Primas movement aims to bring credibility, accountability and humanity back to the Internet. Primas is a place where you make the rules and can openly share ideas with those willing to listen.
Primas Token
PST is the token used on the Primas platform. It is a reward to the creators of exceptional content, node operators and community members who engage and interact on the platform.
The DTCP Content Protocol
The DTCP protocol aims to build an open, connected and trusted high-quality content ecosystem. The DTCP protocol builds a set of standards for content metadata. It uses blockchain technology to generate unique digital identities that cannot be tampered with or lost, ensuring content metadata (release time, author identity, etc.) is true and reliable. Applications using the DTCP protocol can better interpret the content based on trusted metadata to allow making efficient personalized recommendations according to content quality. Based on the standard for trusted content, DTCP defines the content exchange protocol between applications. Applications within the content ecosystem include: content producers, content distributors, content recommenders, content search services, advertising services, etc. Standardized service descriptions makes it possible to automate discovery for more developed applications, such as large content platforms, to easily expose their products and services for paid or free use. New applications can pool resources by automatically discovering and integrating existing service providers, rapidly expanding their capabilities, accelerating application development, and achieving rapid growth of content and users.
Primas Node
All data is recorded on the blockchain and unable to be tampered with. Using PoS secondary networking allows high scalability, accelerated accessing speeds and the ability to support large scale simultaneous applications. Users do not need to wait for block confirmations to achieve a consistent user experience. This also greatly reduces the transaction cost of using blockchain and solves bottlenecking issues. Completely decentralized architecture employing a system of economic incentivization and node discovery technique allows anyone to join or quit using the Primas node at any time without affecting end users. At present, the secondary network connected to Ethereum supports the use of a large number of users. In the case of extreme congestion on the Ethereum network (ie. during an ICO event), users will still be able to use Primas without stalling; they also do not need to pay gas fees.
Decentralized Hawkeye
Primas uses a distributed Hawkeye system to track the entire network of content, recording it on the blockchain and contributing to the content scoring system. Content publishers can also better understand the distribution and potential plagiarism of their content. Through an economic incentive mechanism, with task scheduling and crawler algorithms, any browser, mobile phone or personal computer could be integrated into the Hawkeye system to achieve the most extensive content tracking network on the Internet. In the future, with the open source DTCP protocol, distributed Hawkeye can serve all DTCP-compliant applications. By indexing content through a unified metadata standard, the distributed Hawkeye system will provide powerful support for the next generation of search engines.
Integration with Other Applications and Platforms
The basic services of Primas are opened in the form of APIs for quick access to traditional Internet applications. The Primas Node's technical ability to accelerate blockchain access and reduce blockchain fees can be used directly by third-parties. Without knowing the blockchain technology, the third-party applications can join the Primas Ecosystem, gaining powerful capabilities in content traceability, social recommendations, and the economic incentive system.
