Berlin, 13 February 2025. Eckert & Ziegler SE (ISIN DE0005659700, TecDAX) has suffered a cyber attack on parts of its IT systems. The systems were temporarily shut down proactively and disconnected from the internet to minimise any potential impact. The IT systems and the effects of the attack are currently being examined. The utmost care is being taken to ensure data integrity.
A task force set up immediately is working with the support of external cyber security experts and data forensic experts in accordance with the emergency plan in place for such situations to restore normal operations as quickly as possible and to analyse the incident.
The company's production is largely unaffected and the Executive Board currently does not expect any significant adverse effects on the business.
